About the Event
The Foundation and its partners work to identify programmatic and research needs and creates initiatives that have the greatest impact on improving the health and quality of life for those living with a life changing disability, including but not limited to stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury (SCI) and amputees.
The Foundation partners with a variety or organizations to recruit and offer introductory clinics for adaptive and recreational sports.
SportsAbility offers a wide range of adaptive sports including basketball, water sports, tennis, ballroom dancing, bowling, handcycling, yoga and winter sports. Sessions range from day-long activities to tournaments and competitions. We strive to promote inclusive activities and expand limits, increase self-confidence and encourage independence.
